I'm always on the hunt for a foundation to cover the redness on my face, people say it's not that bad but it bothers me a lot.
So I was in Boots last week browsing the skincare products and I discovered the VICHY Derma Blend Foundation, I thought that being away from all the other regular make-up it might be what I was looking for....and it was!!
I've attached some photos of the before and after so you can see the results for yourself.
The Product
So it's called VICHY Derma Blend Cosmetique Corrective. It says it is a Fluid Corrective Foundation lasting 16 hours. I have pretty pale skin so I went for number 15 (Opal) It only cost £16, a little more than your cheaper brands but a lot less than your premium brands.
Coverage
I never believe any make-up product that claims to last so many hours, because I've NEVER come across any that have actually done what it says. I can't promise this lasts an entire 16 hours but its pretty close. Every other foundation I've used is always pretty much off my face by the end of the day, this baby stayed put! It feels amazing when it's on. It gives me that full coverage I want but without feeling or looking cakey at all. You really only need a tiny amount (with a good foundation brush) I literally only open it up and use one squeeze of the tube and that's all I need.
Verdict
10/10 After years I have finally found the perfect foundation for me and I think the price tag is very reasonable. If you have problem skin or any imperfections that bother you and you want a foundation that actually covers it and stays on this is for you. Oh and lastly if you get it from Boots it's actually classed as Skincare, so when I went it they had a 3 for 2 offer one (which they run often) so you can get a great deal on it!
